F*** shooting for the stars when you can become one. No need to look for external validation when I know that shine come from within. My value as a human is not based on what I possess, or what I accomplish, but rather the kindness of my heart, and how I treat others. Why as we get older must we constantly ridicule others for where they’re at in life, when we ourselves don’t know what the hell we’re doing either. We create a worth of a human based on what house they have, what cars they buy, and other external shit that has no substance. Because we’re programmed to subconsciously or consciously do this towards others, we then constantly chase these external factors ourselves thinking it’ll bring us happiness, love, or worth in some shape or form. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Although we’re programmed to believe that at a young age, happiness, love, and worth can’t be found through these external factors because it’s not authentic or genuine. It is you as an individual, who needs to give yourself this worth and love, this cannot be found through validation of others or based on possessions you own.Now to clarify, I’m not saying don’t have goals, or don’t go for that nice car/nice house. Go for it ALL. What I’m saying is don’t become obsessed or attached to these external values. “Once I have this job, I’ll be happy.” Or “once I buy that home and have that car life will be good.” Because the whole time you’re chasing after these external factors you’re unhappy with yourself because you’re not there yet. Furthermore, you then start beating yourself up more because you’re not where you think you should be. But truth of the matter is, you’re exactly where you need to be. Appreciate the blessings of the present, understand you might have a couple more lessons to go, but your time will come. In the process of it all, we must hold accountability for ourselves too. There’s no need to judge others’ hardships or be jealous of others’ possessions when I as a human on this earth have hardships and blessings of my own. I too am still still teaching this to myself every day, but I know now more than ever everything I need to accomplish on this earth comes from within, that shine comes from within. It’s you who must take the time, effort, and energy to recognize that glow, but as soon as you recognize it, others will too. So f*** shooting for the stars, when you can become one. Shiiiii you already are one, just look within!!
